My work is centred around themes of transculturalism and memory. With particular focus on cultural narratives which have been reshaped by the internet, both through accessibility of information and changing global sensibilities. The central idea being to reflect our broader cultural evolution by reframing non-fiction historical and multicultural themes in a self-conscious and contemporary context.

In terms of the technical and stylistic tone of my practice. I enjoy working in different mediums, bringing together various elements of filmmaking, music composition, graphic design, performance and the written word. All the while remaining very particular in my desire to deconstruct and combine opposing and often conflicting aesthetic and conceptual ideas, incorporating both archival and orphaned material alongside new media technologies into a singular harmonious piece.

Retrospective of my record label, Maybles Labels.
